Furrowfield School's Commitment to Bullying Prevention

At Furrowfield School, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels valued, respected and able to achieve their full potential. We are proud to have achieved the BIG Award each year since 2023.

Through regular awareness activities, peer support initiatives and individual pupil sessions, we actively promote positive relationships and challenge bullying in all its forms.

What is the BIG Award?

The Bullying Intervention Group (BIG) runs a nationally recognised award scheme, endorsed by Kidscape, which celebrates excellence in bullying intervention and prevention. The award recognises schools and organisations that demonstrate a strong commitment to creating safe, inclusive environments for children and young people.

How We Meet the BIG Award Standards

To achieve and maintain the award, Furrowfield School demonstrates:
