Through our SMART Council, every student has the opportunity to contribute their views, share feedback and influence decisions that affect school life. The council provides a structured platform for gathering student perspectives on teaching and learning, behaviour, wellbeing, enrichment opportunities and the overall school experience.

Feedback gathered through SMART Council activities helps inform school policy, practice and strategic development, ensuring that students play an active role in shaping their education. Student voice is collected through council meetings, surveys, tutor discussions, focus groups and whole-school consultations, ensuring that every student is listened to and represented.

The SMART Council also provides valuable opportunities for student leadership, with elected representatives developing confidence, communication, teamwork and decision-making skills as they lead discussions, present ideas and work alongside school leaders.
