Our onsite Forest School offers students the opportunity to learn, explore and grow through meaningful experiences in the natural environment. Through activities such as fire lighting, bushcraft, tool use, nature observation and outdoor problem-solving, students develop confidence, resilience and practical life skills in a safe and supportive setting.
Forest School encourages curiosity, teamwork and independence while providing valuable opportunities to regulate emotions, reduce anxiety and improve wellbeing. Time spent outdoors helps students build positive relationships, develop a sense of achievement and reconnect with learning in a way that is engaging, therapeutic and enjoyable.
As part of our wider therapeutic provision, Forest School supports students to overcome barriers to learning and develop the confidence, self-awareness and resilience needed for success both in school and beyond.
